About Your Digital Media
The way software gets built has changed, and it isn't going back. Most teams are still working out what that means. At Your Digital Media we've been building this way for a while: AI agents do most of the heavy lifting, and a small group of engineers decides what gets built and how. We keep the team small on purpose.
The role
You'd work across several Shopify brands, where the work changes week to week and the deadline is sometimes a weekend sale, and you'd do it the new way. Instead of spending your days in Liquid, you'd shape the work, plan it against each theme and store and decide when each change goes live, while the agents do the building. We think this is how most teams will work in a few years, and you'd already be good at it.

What you'll need
- You know Shopify inside out: you've built stores, run one, or both
- Daily use of AI coding agents, and a feel for where they help and where they don't
- Short, clear written English
Even better if you have
- Your own Shopify brand, now or before
- Liquid, sections and JSON templates
- Hydrogen or the Storefront API
- App embeds and releases from git
- Work across more than one store
- A good sense of how a store should be put together
Graduates and early-career engineers are welcome. We care more about how you think and how you work with agents than about the years on your CV.
