About Your Digital Media
The way software gets built has changed, and it isn't going back. Most teams are still working out what that means. At Your Digital Media we've been building this way for a while: AI agents do most of the heavy lifting, and a small group of engineers decides what gets built and how. We keep the team small on purpose.
The role
You'd run a live iOS and Android app with real users and real hardware on the other end, and you'd do it the new way. Instead of spending your days in the code, you'd shape the work, plan it against the architecture and decide when each release goes out, while the agents do the building. We think this is how most teams will work in a few years, and you'd already be good at it.
How the rest works is something we'd rather show you than write about.
What you'll need
- React Native you've shipped, even a side project
- You've published an app to the App Store or Google Play and know how releases work
- Daily use of AI coding agents, and a feel for where they help and where they don't
- Short, clear written English
Even better if you have
- Bluetooth (BLE) work in a real app
- Store listings that you've managed over time
- Xcode, Gradle, fastlane and code signing
- A good sense of how an app should be put together
Graduates and early-career engineers are welcome. We care more about how you think and how you work with agents than about the years on your CV.
